My Reality

San Fruttuoso

Its been a really good week so far, lots of chilled vibes everywhere, which means that I….drum roll please....DAYDREAM! I was reminiscing about last Sunday when Ruben, Danny, Tom and myself took a trip to Porto Fino where the rich and famous fraternize. It was really beautiful and we stopped off in a place called San Fruttuoso, which is basically one building and one tower and somewhere not too far off its shore, about 100m under water, is a statue that fell off a cliff and landed in the precise spot where at a certain time of the day, a beam of sunshine shines directly onto it, making it look ever so angelic. We never saw it if course because, despite it being the end of May, the weather is still crap and the water is poes cold. There is a bar where you can enjoy delicious aperitivo’s and feed the fish, as well as plenty of awesome restaurants. There is also an amazing gelato shop where you can pick up a giant size one (I personally recommend chocolate…everytime), and proceed to follow the path up the hill to the castle on top. What a place though, I recommend it to anyone who is in the vicinity. You just take the ferry from Genova Port  and an hour or so later, BOOM, you’re in paradise.
Portofino

On a different note, whilst hoovering (the boredom rearing its head again), I modified Carly Rae Jepson’s song “Call Me Maybe”. For those of you who don’t know it is yet ANOTHER cheesy Rebecca Blackesque type song. It is awfully catchy though:

Another teenage girl,
Who thinks that she can sing well,
You ask her, she’ll never tell,
And now she’s on T.V.

She thinks that she’s all that
She’s got no body fat
Does she know now she’s trapped,
Because she’s on T.V.

Her clothes are skimpy,
Perfect skin, figure’s skinny,
No brains but she’s pretty,
Do you think I’m jealous? Maybe!

Chorus
Hey, no-one knew you,
And this is crazy,
One stupid song,
Can make you famous.

It isn’t clever,
Or even witty,
But it sells records,
And that’s a pity.

Repeat…over and over. Word.
